    Open the Google “News” app on your device. If you can't find it, the search for News in the search feature.

    Select Notifications from the “General” section. It's located right before the “ Downloading ” settings.

    Turn off the notifications. Toggle off the blue switch right after the “Get notifications” text. The blue switch will turn to grey after you do so. That's it!
