Easily silence Time Sensitive Notifications in iOS
Want to get rid of those "Time Sensitive" push notifications you're seeing from certain apps? If you want to stop getting Time Sensitive Notifications from apps like Instagram, Grubhub, or Snapchat, you can turn them off. You can also disable Time Sensitive Notifications in Do Not Disturb if it's bypassing your settings. Here's how to turn off Time Sensitive Notifications on your iPhone or iPad.

Tap an app. You'll see a list of all your apps underneath Notification Style .

- To disable Time Sensitive Notifications on more apps, tap the back arrow, select a new app, and then toggle it off.

Disabling Time Sensitive Notifications in Focus Mode

- If you don't want Time Sensitive Notifications to bypass Do Not Disturb or Focus Mode, you can disable it within the Focus settings.

Tap a Focus Mode. If you only have Do Not Disturb , tap it to select it.

Toggle off"Time Sensitive Notifications". The switch will turn grey. You will no longer receive Time Sensitive Notifications while in Focus Mode.

Disabling All Notifications

Open the Settings app. This is the cog icon.
- Use this method to disable all notifications. If you only want to disable all notifications temporarily, consider using Do Not Disturb or another Focus mode instead.

Tap Notifications . You can find this a few tiles down. It should be next to a red icon with a white alarm bell.

Tap an app. To disable all notifications, you'll need to select every listed app and turn off their notifications.

Toggle off"Allow Notifications". The switch will turn grey.
- Tap the back arrow to return to the previous page.

Repeat for all apps. When all app notifications are set to Off , you'll no longer receive their notifications.
- While not recommended, you can turn off official alerts from the government. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the Notifications
page. Toggle off every alert underneath the Government Alerts
header.
- This includes: AMBER Alerts, Emergency Alerts, Public Safety Alerts, and Test Alerts.
