Remove games and save data on PlayStation 4 consoles

If you want to free up space on your PS4, you can uninstall any unwanted games. Since saved data isn't affected by uninstalling, you can resume playing normally whenever you download it again. Here's how to uninstall games on PS4 and, if you want to, delete saved data.

  1. Select Settings .
  2. Select Storage .
  3. Select System Storage .
  4. Select Applications .
  5. Select the game.
  6. Select Delete , then OK .

  1. This is the toolbox icon at the top toolbar.
    • This method will show you how to delete multiple games at once.
    • If you want to delete a single game, select it on your home page. Press Options on your controller and select Delete . Select OK .
  2. This is underneath Devices ; you may need to scroll down to find it.

  3. This should be the only option on the page. If you save your games to other locations , select Online Storage or USB Storage instead.

  5. On your controller , press Options . This is on the right of the touchpad.

    • You'll now see boxes next to all listed apps and games.
  7. You'll see a checkmark in the box.

  3. If you store your data elsewhere, select Saved Data in Online Storage or Saved Data on USB Storage Device instead.

  5. You'll see all games with saved data.
    • If you want to select more than one game at a time, press Options on your controller and select Select Multiple Applications . Then, select all games with saved data you want to erase.
  6. If you only want to delete certain data, select it instead.
  7. This is in the left panel.
  8. This will delete the save data from your PlayStation 4.
