As an Uber Driver, you might see non-stop ride requests. If you don't, though, Uber's Trip Planner feature can help you plan your trips and get work by picking up riders when they need you.
Steps
-
1Open Uber Driver. The icon is maroon with a white hexagon icon on it, with a square design cut out in the middle.
-
2Tap either the ^ or the checkbox list button on the bottom bar. Doing so will open your Trip Planner.
- Although it's best if you are offline, if you are having trouble and not getting much business, you can do this online too, as long as you have no trip in progress.

3Make sure that your Uber City's name matches that of the city in your Trip Planner page. You can find it to the right of the Hourly Trends label (just to the left of the (i) button).
-
4Check out the hourly trends for your Uber city. The hourly trends area is a graphical representation of, on average, how many trips Uber has seen over the course of each hour. However, the main page only shows information for 6 hours.
- Not all Uber Cities will have this information shown. Uber Cities must exist in Uber's system for at least 12 months before they display in this tool.
-
5Look at the information for upcoming promotions in your Uber City. Tap "See upcoming promotions". You should see explanations and start and end times for these promotions.
-
6Check out your Driving time and how much time before any limits reset. This is not going to be shown to all Drivers, but will be shown as needed based on any restrictions in your city.
-
7Check out your last rider's Waybill. You'll find this inside the space above the last line and below "See Driving Time" (if your City has restrictions posed on it).
-
8Run the Destination Filter using the magnifying glass icon/button in the lower left corner. Doing so will open your Destination Filter using the same format as if it were accessed from the map.
-
9Look at your online-offline status (or Go Offline). This feature/button can be found smack dab in the middle of the bottom row of the page.
-
10Check your Trip Preferences with the switches icon in the bottom right corner of the page.Advertisement
