Introvert vs. Extrovert

The two main types of personality types are introvert and extrovert. These personality types are contrasts of one another, with one being shy and quiet and the other bold and loud. Whether you’re an introvert or extrovert can affect how you interact with others and experience the world around you. So, what does your type say about you?

Introverts prefer solitude and regain their energy by spending time alone. If you’re an introvert, chances are you feel the most comfortable in calm environments and prefer one-on-one or small-group activities. Crowds can make you feel overwhelmed, and you’d rather spend a night in than a night out.

Extroverts thrive in social settings and seek external validation and activity. If you’re an extrovert, you likely feel the most comfortable surrounded by a lot of people and are the most energized when interacting with others. Isolation can make you feel restless, and you’d rather not spend time alone if you can help it.
