August 28, 2018 Dear Ms. Doe, A few bothersome occurrences regarding our class essays have come to my attention. I wanted to take the time to voice my opinion in a respectful and whole hearted manner. I have noticed that there seems to be a lack of constructive notes and criticism on returned essays for your class. Without feedback of any kind it is hard to decipher ways to improve our work especially in such a subjective area as writing. As one of your students I am trying very hard to improve across all aspects of English, more direct guidance from you would be of great benefit. Thank you for taking the time to read my concerns.
