Dear Ms. Smith,
Attached to this letter, you will find the revised version of my most recent manuscript. The manuscript is for the children’s book Taylor’s Walk to the Park. I would deeply appreciate your comments and suggestions regarding this latest edition, as I am striving to complete this manuscript and have the book published in a timely manner, while still ensuring that this book is the best it can be.
I have made many changes in this most recent edition, and one of the biggest is modifying the character who accompanies Taylor to the park. Instead of it being his neighbor, it is now his puppy, Max. Max is a totally new character that Taylor interacts with through playing and talking. I felt that a puppy instead of another human character was more imaginative and allowed for more creativity and interaction between the characters.
Another change I have made to this edition is that at the end of the story, Taylor goes back home instead of to the ice cream stand. This was changed because the ice cream stand did not seem to fit with the story and him going home felt more natural.
I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on these changes and on working toward completing this children’s book!
Thank you for your help,
Jane Doe
