Recently, it was the target of unfortunate vandalism, and I was quite distressed. I called the department and voiced my concern, and I was very much impressed with the timely manner in which my issues were addressed. This park happens to be my children’s favorite place to play. It’s always full of happy families, and the equipment and grounds have always been kept up nicely. I wish I knew who trashed it and why they would do such a thing. However, the knowledge that my parks department is responsive to citizens’ concerns makes me feel so much better.
