Dance party: Clear out some space, make a fun playlist (or head to a streaming music service to find ready-made dance playlists), and set up a disco ball or strobe light for anyone who wants to dance. Two truths and a lie: Have each guest write down three things about themselves; two should be true and one should be a lie. Have each guest read out their “facts,” and the other guests will guess which one is the lie. The winner is the one who gets the most correct. T-shirt painting: Purchase a few packs of inexpensive plain white tees (make sure to grab a selection of appropriate sizes) and some fabric paint or puff paint from the craft store. Each guest can paint their own shirt to take home as a memento of the party. Photo booth: Up the selfie game by setting up a photo booth. You can make a backdrop out of a plastic tablecloth, a large quilt, or a piece of fabric you buy at the fabric store. Throw in some fun props from the dollar store (hats, boas, fake mustaches, etc.), and have a “photographer” in place (maybe a parent or older sibling) to take photos. Even better if you can get your hands on a camera that instantly prints your photos, such as the Instax. Wink assassin: At the beginning of the game, pass out sheets of paper assigning each player a role. One person will be the murderer, and everyone else will be the potential victims. All players will sit in a circle, making eye contact with each other. When the assassin winks directly at another player, that player is dead, and they must count to five, fake a dramatic death, then leave the game. If someone suspects who the murderer is, they say “I accuse.” If a second person also says “I accuse,” then both will count to three and point at the person they suspect. If they both point to the same person who is the murderer, the game is over. Makeup artist game: Divide into teams of two, and have each team select an artist and a model. The artist will be blindfolded while applying a full face of makeup to the model. The model is allowed to talk to the artist to help guide them through the process. Give each team a set amount of time (10-15 minutes is usually good), then a judge will pick a winning team who did the best job with their makeup.
