Heavy Cream Recipe
Ingredients:
* 1 cup whole milk
* 2/3 cup unsalted butter
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat.
Once melted, remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
Skim the foam off the top of the melted butter with a spoon.
Slowly pour the melted butter into the whole milk while whisking continuously.
Keep whisking the mixture until the butter is completely combined with the milk.
Let the mixture cool completely, then cover it and place it in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
After the mixture has chilled, use a hand mixer or a stand mixer to whip the mixture until it forms stiff peaks.
Your homemade heavy cream is ready to use!
Note: Homemade heavy cream may not be as thick as store-bought heavy cream, but it should work well in most recipes that call for it.
