There hasn't been any official news if Netflix is making a sequel to KPop Demon Hunters
, but the directors have shown a lot of interest in doing it. In multiple interviews, director Maggie Kang has mentioned that there were many side stories and unanswered questions leftover from the first movie that could be explored in a sequel.
Because the movie and soundtrack became so popular, there are insider rumors that Netflix will add to the KPop Demon Hunters franchise, including potentially making a stage musical, live-action remake, TV series, and movie sequels to make a trilogy.

As of now, there hasn’t been an official confirmation of a KPop Demon Hunters sequel. However, the directors have said they’d love to expand the story world, and reports suggest that Sony (which holds the rights) is in early talks about developing a follow-up.
So while nothing is green-lit yet, there’s a good chance we’ll see more from the KPop Demon Hunters universe in the future—it’s just still in the discussion stage.
