iTunes has nothing to do with Netflix. You need to go to netflix.com, sign in, go to your account, and change whatever settings you need to there. However, a Netflix subscription doesn't normally 'run out' unless you canceled it. Once you've signed up, Netflix charges you automatically every month and you continue to have it.

If it was activated using someone else's credit card, but you have the username and password for sign in, you could sign in and then update the payment details to your own and it will be reactivated. Then, you could change the password so the person who deactivated it cannot do that again. If it was activated using your credit card and you have the username and password, then you can sign in and re-activate the account, then change the password so the person that deactivated it can't do it again.
