Do you want to cast your iPhone, iPad, or Mac's screen to your Fire TV Stick? Unfortunately, the Fire Stick doesn't support AirPlay—only Chromecast. The only exception is that some Fire TV models (but not Fire Stick) do have AirPlay built in. But don't worry—you can still stream content from your Apple devices! The free AirScreen app adds AirPlay support to your Fire Stick and is easy to install. You can also try iWebTV, which lets you stream any web-based video from an iOS device to your Fire Stick, or DoCast, a premium app that emulates AirPlay. This wikiHow article will teach you how to AirPlay content and mirror your screen to your Amazon Fire Stick and some Fire TVs.

Ways to AirPlay to Fire TV Stick

  • To mirror your screen to a Fire Stick, install AirScreen on your iPhone, iPad, Mac, or iPod Touch.
  • You can also use DoCast to mirror your iPhone or iPad's screen to your Fire Stick, just like AirPlay, and play videos and music directly from your device.
  • If you have an Amazon Fire smart TV model, you may be able to use AirPlay without installing any software.

    Because your Fire Stick doesn't support AirPlay out of the box, you'll need to install an app called AirScreen if you want to AirPlay to your TV. The search icon is in the upper-left area of the Fire TV home screen.

      • Open the Control Center . If your device has a Home button, swipe up from the bottom of the screen. On a phone or tablet that doesn't have a Home button, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen instead.
