  1. Pages are special areas of Facebook that allow artists, musicians, public figures, organizations, businesses, and other projects to connect with fans and customers. [1] Creating a Page for your Facebook blog is a great way to keep your blog posts separate from your standard account. You'll also have access to stats you wouldn't be able to see on your regular profile. Use the following steps to create a Facebook page:
    • Go to https://www.facebook.com and sign in to your main account.
    • Click the menu icon, which is the 9 dots in the upper-right corner of the page.
    • Click Page under "Create."
    • Enter the name of your new blog into the "Page name" field in the upper-left corner.
    • Enter a category for your blog in the category and select a category that best fits your blog niche.
    • Type a biography or information about your blog into the "Bio" field.
    • Click Create Page .
  2. You can do so by clicking your profile icon in the upper-right corner and then clicking See all profiles . Then click your page.

  3. A cover image is a wide image that stretches across the top of your Page. If you've designed a logo or title image for your blog, this would be a great place to put it. To select a cover image:
    • Decide on an image to use that reflects your blog's style and personality. The image must be at least 400 x 150 px (recommended 820 x 360 px). [2]
    • Click Add cover photo at the bottom-right corner of the cover image placeholder.
    • Select Upload photo .
    • Select an image and choose Open .
  4. A profile photo is the image that reflects your Page across Facebook. This can be a photo of you, a logo, a special image you created for your blog, or anything else you wish. To upload a photo, just click the camera icon on the placeholder photo and choose an image from your computer. Facebook will resize the image to fit the circle.
  5. It's the gear icon toward the bottom of the left panel. This is where you'll find all of your Page options.
  6. The options you select are up to you. Since you're creating a blog, here are a few tips to get you started:
    • Right now your Page is public. If you don't want to launch your blog just yet, click Settings in the menu to the left. Then click Followers and public content under "Audience and visibility." Set all the options from "Public" to "Only Me." Look over the other settings on this page and set them however you want.
    • Disable Visitor Posts so you're the only one who can post on the blog. To do so, click Settings in the menu to the left. Then click Page and Tagging below "Audience and visibility." Set "Who can post on your page?" to "Only Me." Look over the other settings on this page and set them however you want.
  7. This page allows you to add additional information, such as contact information, work and education history, and more. Use the following steps to open the About Info page:
    • Go to the profile of your new page.
    • Click Edit below your cover photo.
    • Scroll down and click Edit your About info .
  8. To add an information item to your page, click one of the categories below "About" in the column on the left. Click the Plus ( + ) icon or the pencil icon next to an item and follow the prompts to add more information to your page. The categories are as follows:
    • Contact and basic info: This page allows you to add contact info, such as an address, email address, phone number, website and social media links, and more. You can also change your gender on this page.
    • Privacy & legal info: This page allows you to add a link to your privacy policy (if you have one) as well as add an Impressum (if you have one).
    • Work and education: This page allows you to add places you've worked and attended school.
    • Places lived: This page allows you to add your current location, hometown, as well as other places you have lived.
    • Page transparency: This page just shows the information that is publicly available on your page. You can't edit the information on this page.
    • Family and relationships: This page allows you to add family members as well as edit your relationship status.
    • Details about you: This page allows you to add information about yourself, such as a description of yourself, nicknames, and favorite quotes.
    • Life events: This page allows you to add important events in your life.

    Expert Answer
Treat your Facebook bio as an elevator pitch. Only focus on the most impactful things about either yourself or your brand. Make sure that you add some personality to it. Since the bio is supposed to be short, you want to make sure that you're showing off your personality while also telling the most important things about yourself.

    Expert Answer
Creating your own content and sharing your own perspectives is a lot more valuable and interesting than reposting content. Building your own personal brand on Facebook is the better way to go.
  • Question
How can I recover my Facebook password?
    Community Answer
If you report to Facebook that you forgot your password, they can send it to you via the email account you used to register your account. If the email you registered with is no longer in service, Facebook will probably provide you with the option to use a different email. I recommend you make a Gmail account, since it's more secured.
