Quickly setup a hotspot using your Windows 10 PC

In Windows 10, you can broadcast your WiFi, Ethernet, or cellular data connection as a Wi-Fi hotspot. This allows other devices to connect to it. This can be done through the Settings app. Read this article to learn how.
How to Make a Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot
- Click the Windows button in the lower-left corner.
- Click the Settings cogwheel.
- Go to Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot .
- Choose your hotspot settings.
- Click the toggle at the top of the page to turn your hotspot on.

Open Settings. To open your Windows settings , press the Windows button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, then click the cog wheel icon (for Settings ).

Choose your settings. The next step, according to computer and phone repair specialist Joseph Alexander, is to choose how to share your connection:
- Select which connection you want to share under Share my Internet connection from .
- Press the Edit button to change the hotspot's name and password.
- Turn on remotely automatically turns on the hotspot if both devices (PC and that device) are Bluetooth-enabled. [2] X Research source

QuestionWhat if when I go into Network & Internet, it doesn't have hot-spot under that?Isum007Community AnswerIf your PC has a cellular data connection, you can turn your Windows 10 PC into a mobile hotspot by sharing your Internet connection with other devices over Wi-Fi. Select the Start button, then select Settings > Network & Internet > Mobile hotspot. If your Windows PC doesn't support Hotspot feature, you cannot create a hotspot. For Share my Internet connection from, choose the Internet connection you want to share. Select Edit > enter a new network name and password > Save. Turn on Share my Internet connection with other devices. To connect on the other device, go to the Wi-Fi settings on that device, find your network name, select it, enter the password, and then connect.
