Need Help Maximizing Space in a Small Apartment

Hi everyone! I recently moved into a small apartment around 500 sq. ft, and I'm struggling to make the space feel open and functional. Does anyone have recommendations for furniture, storage solutions, or design tricks that make small spaces look bigger? I'd love to see examples or hear about your experiences!

I tried rearranging my living room furniture to create a more open and inviting space. I expected the room to feel more spacious and well-organized, but instead, it still feels a bit cramped. I was hoping for a better flow and a visually balanced design, but something seems off. Any suggestions on how to improve the layout or choose better furniture arrangements?

Wall-mounted storage and stackable shelves can help you maximize your space. You can also create the illlusion of more space by hanging mirrors up and decorating your space in light, muted tones. Ceiling-height curtains can give your apartment the illusion of being taller, and if they're sheer, they'll also filter in more light, which can help your apartment feel more open and breathable.
