Breakups can be really tough, and we hope seeing other people's stories can help you out and let you know you're not alone! As you read through how others handle their worst breakups, we've put together some quick self-care tips to help you out right now:
  • Allow yourself to feel all of your feelings instead of keeping them bottled up inside. It's okay to cry or feel upset, so let those emotions out. Write them down in a journal to help get them out of your head.
  • Reach out to friends and family members who you're close with and ask for their support. They can be there to listen and help comfort you.
  • Focus on doing things that you love! Dive back into your hobbies and look for something fun that you can do to distract yourself when you're feeling down.
  • Take a break from social media if you're worried about seeing your ex's posts. It's best not to check their profile or message them so you can get your mind off the relationship

There's nothing more worse than having breakup just after one night of dating because she found out I eat excessively.

I had a nasty fallout once with my break up because my girlfriend at the time had severe mental issues, and I had some myself and still cared for her. She was really bipolar and switched up on me a lot, to the point it felt like abuse in some instances. Eventually I found out she was cheating on me, so I broke it off, but get this! She made herself the victim and made false accusations towards me of being an abuser, and practically turned almost everyone against me other then my family members, and my closest best friends. The lasting impact though gave me serious trust issues and I'm extremely cautious on dating again.
