Did you know that even though the Discord app only works for PS5 that there are workarounds to get Discord working for your PS4? These workarounds aren't as easy as opening the app on PS5 , but, with a little work, you can chat on Discord while playing games on your PS4 console. This wikiHow teaches you how to get Discord on your PS4.

- Use the web browser to navigate to the Discord web app.
- Enable JavaScript in your web browser if it isn't already enabled.
- To join a voice chat on Discord using your PS4, you can either use a headset and mic that you plug into the controller or PS Remote Play on your phone.

Open Library on your PS4. Scroll to the right and select the tile that looks like a bookshelf to see your library. -
Click Applications . It's in the menu on the left side of your screen and will show you apps that aren't labeled as "games."Advertisement -
Click Internet Browser . This will open the Internet Browser for your PS4. -
Go to the Discord site. Enter "discord.com" into the address bar and press "Go." Discord will open in the browser on your PS4.- If Discord isn't working on your browser, make sure you have Javascript enabled. Press the "Options" button on your controller and go to Settings > Enable Javascript .

Sign in with your Discord account. You should be prompted to log in immediately when you navigate to the website. Joining Discord Voice Chat on PS4

Plug in a headset with a mic to your controller. You can find lots of headsets made for PS4 controllers with built-in mics from many different electronic retailers. If you have a mic, you can simply select the voice chat from the web browser on your PS4 to join a voice chat and talk with other people. -
Use your smartphone and PS Remote Play. Alternatively, get PS Remote Play on your Android or iPhone and use your phone as a mic on PS4 . To do this, simply: [3] X Research source- Download PS Remote Play on your Android or iPhone.
- On your PS4, go to Settings > Remote Play Connection Settings > Enable Remote Play > Add Device .

- Select Link Manually and enter the code that's displayed on your TV.
- Once connected, you'll be able to see your console on your phone's screen. You'll also hear sounds from your PS4 (the games and the sounds coming from the web browser). Connect headphones to your phone for a better listening experience.
- Tap the microphone icon to use your phone's mic.
- Join a Discord call and you'll be able to talk with those in the call using the web browser on your PS4.
