Adding a Discord Music Bot
To add a Discord music bot, you can search for one online or use Discord's app discovery page. When you pick out a bot, click the button to add it to your server, choose the server, and then click the Authorize button.

Adding a Bot via the Internet

Open Discord. If you have the app installed on your desktop, just click on its icon (blue/purple with a white controller in it). If you don't have the app, open the Discord website ( discordapp.com ) and log in.

Open your browser and search for a music bot. If you know what bot you want to add, you can just search that bot's name, and its website should pop up. Otherwise, go to top.gg/tag/music and browse for a music bot that appeals to you.

Select Add to Discord . Most bot pages should have this button displayed next to the bot's name.

Select the server for your music bot. You can only add bots to servers that you own or servers where you have the appropriate permissions. You'll only be able to select servers that you're able to add bots to.
- If you want a music bot in a server that you don't have permissions in, you can always ask the server owner if they could add a music bot.

Click Continue > Authorize . You'll now be able to use the music bot in your Discord.
- If you don't know how to use the bot you just added, refer to the bot's documentation. Each bot will have different controls.
- You may have to complete a CAPTCHA to add the bot to your server.

2Click the Discover icon in the bottom-left corner of the screen. The Discover icon looks like a circle with a diamond in it, and the diamond has a smaller circle inside of it.

3Click the Apps tab. If you haven't opened the Discover tab recently, it should automatically be on Apps .

4Search for a music app. You can either type the name of the bot in the upper-right corner (if you know it), or search for the keyword "music."

5Click on an app you want to add to your server. Before proceeding, read through the app's information to make sure it fits your needs.

6Click Add App . Choose a server in the dropdown list that you have permissions to add a bot to. You can only add bots to servers that you own or servers where you have the appropriate permissions. You'll only be able to select servers that you're able to add bots to.
