These cards have an ATK and DEF and are used to beat your opponents monsters and get your opponents lifepoints down to 0. Each player starts with 8000 lifepoints. The stars in the top right corner shows the level of the monster. If it is 4 or lower, you can play the card from your hand without tributing any card. If ti is level 5-7, you have to tribute one card from the field. The tibuted card is put in the graveyard. if it is level 8 or higher you have to tribute two cards. If the card has a yellow background, it is a normal monster. If it has a brown background, it is an effect monster.
