The strategy should work similarly even with lower level troops. Since the troop level is low, you can't expect to 3 star a base with a strong defence. With good timing, however, you can still be very successful.

How do I defeat a dragon if it a is a CC troop?

Use a barb or gob to lure the dragon out of the CC, then take it to a corner of the base and place archers in a circle around the dragon. Make sure to put the archers one by one and not many of them at the same place. If you have 2 poison spells. 10 to 15 archers are enough or else around 15 to 20.

No. You have to be very vigilant, otherwise the golems may die, the wizards could be killed by a giant bomb, and you have to funnel the PEKKAs very well, otherwise they go on the outside.
