Just slow down and leave plenty of space between you and the car in front of you. It's best to have a big cushion when you're driving in poor weather. Other than that, just go with the flow of traffic and drive defensively.

You can still buy one. My Prius, like my three other conventional vehicles, gets snow tires fitted in the winter. The road-holding, traction and stability are excellent: the front/back weight balance on the Prius is quite even (engine in front, battery and fuel tank in back), which makes stability good, and snow tires help maintain traction that is otherwise impaired for an equally balanced vehicle like the Prius. In fact, as the Prius uses electric motors during a gentle acceleration from a standing start, the torque is controlled more progressively than with a gasoline or diesel engine and a transmission in first gear, so your pull-aways will be smooth, skid-free, and professional-looking.
