    Blaziken77g
    Community Answer
If my wartortle had 90HP and had taken 30HP in damage, then my blastoise with 150HP would also retain the 30HP of damage (leaving it with 120HP).
  • Question
Do I need to play a Munchlax before evolving into a Snorlax if both are basic cards?
    Brendan
    Community Answer
If a Pokémon card is labeled as a basic card, you don't need to play the pre-evolution. If the Snorlax card doesn't indicate it evolves from Munchlax and is a basic card, you can play the Snorlax directly.
  • Question
What should I do with a Stage 1 Pokémon if its Basic Pokémon gets discarded or knocked out?
    AcademicAmbivalence
    Community Answer
You can only play a Stage 1 Pokémon by evolving it from its Basic form. If the Basic Pokémon is knocked out and you have no other copies in your deck, you cannot play the Stage 1 version. It's helpful to include revives and other trainer cards in your deck to draw, search, or shuffle cards. Also, maintain a varied selection of Pokémon, with multiple copies of each. For example, if you have a Charizard, include 2 Charmeleons and 2 or 3 Charmanders.
