On my Town Hall 9, I use 34 loons, 25 minions, 1 rage, 1 poison, 5 haste spells. The spells may vary; you can carry more rage spells if you want to be a little cheap on dark elixir. You also need level 6 loons for this strategy to work. It is not guaranteed a 3 star every time, but that doesn't matter when you are trying to get loot.
