    Expert Answer
Unfortunately, you can't really go against the way your body is designed. There isn't really anything you can do at home to make your hair grow faster, regardless of your hair's texture. You may be able to see a doctor or a cosmetologist to give you a steroid shot that may encourage hair growth, but any product that says it "could potentially stimulate hair growth" is probably not going to help.
  • Question
Why won't my spiral curler hold?
    Community Answer
After you curl it, try holding it in place and then use hairspray. Keep your hand under the hair that you tried to curl, then spray.
  • Question
How do I get curly hair if I am a boy?
    Community Answer
Do the same, but be careful with the irons and make shorter buns. You can also just take a pencil, wrap your hair around it, and then blow dry it.
  • Question
Can I make spiral curls with a hot air brush?
    Community Answer
You probably could, but I wouldn't recommend it. If you do decide to use the hot air brush, just use it like you would a regular curling iron.
  • Question
    Does it stay in permanently?
    Community Answer
No. All heat-applied curls go away when the hair is washed. The only way to get permanent curls is to get a perm at a salon.
