  • Question
Is it normal for a white moon kale plant to have large stems growing from the top and bloom flowers, and how would I shear it?
    Community Answer
It's best to harvest your kale before it matures that far, as the younger they are, the more tender and easy to eat. Snip it down to nearly ground level and allow it to regrow.
  • Question
Where I live, the temperatures range from about 21 to 38 degrees Celsius. Can I grow kale here?
    Community Answer
That's generally a little warm for kale. It grows best between about 15 and 21 degrees Celsius. You can probably manage, but try to schedule your planting so that you will be harvesting during the coolest part of your season.
  • Question
I don't understand what "outside" leaves are on the kale plant. Can you show me a picture illustrating the outside and inside?
    Community Answer
If you avoid picking the smaller leaves that are in the center, you will be fine.
  • Question
