    If you know how to sew, you can take in the elastic band a couple of inches to make it more tightly fitted. Another option if to use tape to secure it to your skin, but don't use string tapes such as duct tape, as they can damage your skin.

    I’ve tried this with my off the shoulder top with straps, but the sleeves don’t fall back into place. What else can I do?

    Try sewing an elastic to the top to keep it in place. Also, you can use tape to secure it to your skin, but don't use normal tapes such as duct tape, because they can harm your skin. Instead, use fashion tape.

    What about if the clothing is long sleeved?

    You can pin the sleeves on the inside of the top. Just make sure they are put in the correct place. You can do this by turning the shirt inside out.
