    The best way to memorize is to write down the alphabet and review it until you can sound out basic words without romanization. (Do not use romanization at all as you are learning because it slows down the process.) Keep a notebook for vocab/phrases and a book on the alphabet and grammar.

    You might just get stuck, you don’t where to go NCT you can’t read Hangul, plus you won’t be able to ask for something you need, it would be hard, so it’s best to learn Korean or at least know some amount of Korean before you go.

    Practice hard, as long as you can. The more you practice the best, try learning informal and formal to understand which one they’re using, practice more on you’re vocabulary it will help a lot. Use apps like Duolingo, or eggbun, I personally use How To Study Korean, and I have my own journal. And I put post-it notes on basic things like a pen or a table with the Korean word written in Hangul and translation, I learned how to read Hangul a long time ago so if you can’t read you might as well add the pronunciation.

    Put post-it notes with the words around the house on items like a pen, table, chair, window, etc. and read them wherever you see them, it’s a good and easy way to memorize after seeing them like a million times.
