  • Question
What happens if I get violent after someone rear ends me in a car accident?
    Community Answer
Calm yourself down and think about positive things like that you and the other drivers are okay. Driving is an inherently unsafe activity and it really depends on human beings staying alert, considerate, respectful and calm in order for it to work properly; driving speeding machines is not something to take lightly or to mistreat. Accidents will happen, they're just a part of life, so try to take it in your stride and remember that cars are replaceable, people are not.
  • Question
How do I survive a car accident with my children in the back seat?
    Community Answer
Wear your seatbelt, always. The seatbelt will keep you conscious, intact and able to escape quickly. In crashes involving fire, explosions and submersion, which happen very rarely but have devastating consequences, if you are knocked unconscious because you did not wear your seatbelt, then you won’t be able too escape and you won't be able to help free your children. Be authoritative in voice and actions after an accident so the children know they can trust you but that you mean it when you tell them they have to move quickly and carefully to safety. Keep an eye on where they are getting out to as well, you don't want them stepping into oncoming traffic.
