    How do I view the update in a folder?

    Click on the folder, and the file should appear. Of course, you may need to download a certain software if you want to actually open it, but after clicking on the folder you put it in, it should be there.

    After doing anything I could find online, my Playstation 4 still will not update, but are there any manual, or lesser known options I could still try?

    Try a USB stick and format it to FAT 32 and go to the PlayStation site. Select help and then system software. Then select PS4 Download reinstallation file. On your USB stick, crea,te a folder and name it PS4 upper case and in the the PS4 folder, create a folder and name it UPDATE also upper case. Everything must be in uppercase and in the UPDATE folder, put the downloaded file PS4UPDATE.PUP on your PS4. Power off completely, install the USB stick and power on PS4 and follow on-screen messages.
