Are you trying to reset your Nespresso Vertuo?   2. After three seconds, you will see a steady orange light. This light signifies that your coffee machine has entered the special functions menu.
  3. If you let the machine idle the special functions menu, the light will blink three times every two seconds to let you know that you're still in special functions mode.
    • If you don't choose a special function within two minutes, the machine will exit special functions mode.

  2. Press and hold the hot foam button until the descale and rinse alerts start blinking. Doing this will put your coffee machine in menu mode.
