  • Tom Cruise was almost cast as Tony Stark. What would the movies look like if Robert Downey Jr. hadn't won the coveted lead role?
  • Iron Man first appeared in comics in 1963. So though his official franchise films didn't come around until 2008, the superhero has actually been around for a long time.
