Hello JayneG, I recently started my first article on Wikihow, but it says it needs some citing. I want to place cites in the References spot, but I can't and don't know how to do so. Could you lend me a hand?

It looks like the title got updated! Anyways, I was wondering if there's any place here to view available interwiki prefixes. Special:Interwiki is hidden so that got me curious :) The only one I've come across till now is wikipedia: for Wikipedia. If the table can be modified, could we have one for the forums?

Now that I am unblocked on wikiHow, I have a few questions to ask:

1. Why did you block me last month (despite being a trusted user in WMF and other wikis)? Is it because of side effects of licensing change (that led me to founding of a new how-to wiki)?
   • (before the licensing change in March (CC BY-NC-SA era), I was a trusted user on wikiHow: I have created many articles and got promoted. I am nominated for achievements on wikiHow Forums).
2. Does wikiHow have plans to update MediaWiki software to 1.43 LTS, which is supported? wikiHow currently runs MediaWiki 1.33.0-alpha (d7947ca), which is a 6-year-old MediaWiki version and is no longer supported.
3. I have requested images on many articles in February, March and April, but most didn’t get the new Wikivisual images. Why?

Unfortunately, I am still blocked on wikiHow Forums (Discourse) until July 21st.

Just boosted an article. Bit of a niche thing, but have a look at https://www.wikihow.com/index.php?title=Model-a-Plate-with-Holes-in-Solidworks-CAD&action=history . I didn't patrol any revision of this article at all. However, after the demotion, the patrol logs seem to show that I patrolled every unpatrolled revision of the article (twice?). Essentially, my name is being attached as the patroller of edits I'm not even aware about, without my knowledge! Is this intentional?

Exactly! I tested it here , luckily it does not allow boosters to self-patrol their own edits, however it marked the 2 outstanding edits from my alt ( [1] [2] ) as patrolled. I'm curious whether this quirk exists when actioning from the Admin tab instead of NAB.

I see! Considering that most boosts I do are demotions that don't require as-thorough looks as promotions, I still think it'd be no harm to have those edits still go through patrol just to be safe against any unwanted edits like exlink additions. But with this newfound knowledge, I can imagine myself double-checking article histories in the future to review any edits that'll be getting patrolled in my name :) I now see the thought behind this mechanic and can appreciate the intent. Thanks for explaining!

"This may sound a little silly but I used the "Article Greenhouse: FORMAT" feature and discovered a stubbed article. I changed the article's introduction and selected to keep the "FORMAT" warning, as I did not change the formatting at all (at least not yet.) However, I was still put on the formatting greenhouse leaderboard. I don't think it's a big deal, and next time I'll click on the article link. But, is there a way to get my fake formatting contribution removed from the leaderboard?"
