What's the true personality of a Virgo?

Virgo here. We are total sweethearts, I promise, but we can come off cold and like know-it-alls. Virgos are not emotionally closed off, but they don't always do a good job of expressing their emotions. Since they're air signs they're very intellectual and motivated by interesting ideas and the pursuit of knowledge. They gravitate to people who are creative and intelligent. Virgos are innovative and solutions-oriented, they like to fix things and may spend more time/energy on figuring out a solution to your problem than just listening to you vent, which can maybe get annoying but their heart is in the right place!

Virgo is staid and careful and cautious. Virgo is a very what I call "user-friendly" sign: if it's practical, they'll do it. Otherwise, they're going to screw you over. It's a very cold sign. Virgo's nobody's favorite sign, sorry!

that made me laugh, but i disagree! i have so many amazing virgo friends. they're sweet angels who are always willing to help out when they're needed and listen to me vent. they're also not afraid to give real, honest advice when needed (and yes sometimes it's brutal and overly practical!). i love virgos!

Virgos like to think they know it all. They like to give advice, no matter how cringey. They are conscientious of cleanliness and hygiene. It is very hard to get a Virgo to open up, when they like someone they will stare at them from afar. They are shy and receptive, they like honesty, availability and cleanliness, and they love to pitch in to help.

Yeah, the stereotyle I always hear about Virgos is that they're clean, and in my personal expefrience that seems to be true, my virgo brother is super tidy and kind of a nut about making sure guests keep the house clean, take shoes off, ect. On the other hand, he's not cold or unemotional, he is actually really sweet and open about his feelings. Maybe this is sosmething to do with his moon sign or something, I'm not sure what it is and don't know too much about that

In my head, Virgos are like…very extra. I know the stereotype is that they’re detail-oriented and polite, but they can be super gossipy, too. I also know a few Virgos who are so detail-oriented that they’ll drive you insane. Like, just leave work early to come hang out! You don’t need to get everything on that report perfect. In fact, yeah, “perfectionist” is the word I’d use. That said, I’m super jealous of how Virgos tend to be really motivated. I feel like I could use some of that energy to be a better student. I’ve never met a lazy Virgo, you know?
