Anyone have any tips for how to make money FAST? I'm just looking for some sort of side gig or easy side jobs I can take on to supplement my income and pay off some debt. Any suggestions welcome, especially for making money online! Thank you!

There are something like 50 different companies in business today that will hire basically anybody to deliver things. Amazon is the big one, but there are also companies like Factor, GoPuff, or Spark that are always hiring gig workers.

But beyond that, don’t just think about adding income—think about cutting expenses. If you’re saving for something or trying to pay a debt off, cutting back on how much you spend can be a huge boon.

There are just a bunch of different side hustles out there, but teaching or tutoring English to foreign students is one of the best side gigs I could recommend. A lot of countries, like China and India, spend a lot of money to learn English. The requirements are pretty low for tutors and teachers. You have to be fluent in English and you need a computer, but beyond that there aren’t any super strict requirements and the pay is generally very good. Plus, you can do it from home!

It’s not exactly glorious, but you can typically sell your plasma $50-100. Plasma centers often give bonuses for first-time donors, too!

If you own a car, you can get approved to drive for Uber or Lyft in under a few days. The vetting process isn’t especially complicated and so long as you have a safe driving record you should be good to go. Just make sure that you keep track of all of your mileage and random expenses—all of that stuff is tax deductible!

If you’ve got free time during the day and you like pets, I’d highly recommend starting a little dog walking service. You can advertise to people in your area with almost no effort—just throw up some flyers and post in a neighborhood Facebook group or something—and the work is very easy. A lot of people got dogs when they were working from home during COVID, and now there’s a huge demand for dog walkers during the workday.

If you have extra things at home that you don't need or use anymore, try selling them on Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist. If you have enough items, you could even host a garage sale to make some extra cash and get rid of some clutter at home.

Sign up for Fiverr, Upwork, Taskrabbit to do some freelancing on the side. Depending on your skills, you could do copywriting, marketing, graphic design, clean homes or office buildings, organize people's closets or other spaces, put together furniture, help people move, provide handyman services, or help people with comptuter or tech-related issues. You can even get paid to WAIT IN LINE!

Look for retail stores hiring around the holidays for temp employees. Seasonal hours may pay more because stores are open later and it's more stressful.

I agree about recycling loose change. I cleaned my house the other day and found enough spare change to take myself out to the movies. Can't pay the bills, maybe, but it may be enough to treat yourself.

Sell things you don't want on Facebook Marketplace or Poshmark or Etsy. That's what I do. It's easy and it can be fun if you really get into it. You could even start a business eventually.

Check for loose change around vending machines or parking meters. Collecting and saving spare coins and dollars here and there can surprisingly add up over time. Just make sure not to take money that clearly belongs to someone else.

Have an eye for a bargain? Consider reselling items on sites like eBay. Or better yet, for convenience, take quality goods you no longer need to local pawn and consignment shops. You set the price.

Check with elderly neighbors or relatives to see if they need help with lawn work, groceries, or other errands. Offering your time is a win-win, as they get assistance and you can earn some cash.
