Want to share a GIF with your Discord server or friend? You can use Discord's library, or you can upload GIFs from your computer. You can also post a GIF using a link. Here's how to post GIFs in a Discord chat on a PC or Mac computer.

Uploading and Using GIFs in Discord

To use Discord's built-in GIF gallery, click GIF in the text field and select a GIF. To upload a GIF to Discord, drag and drop the GIF file into the text field. You can also copy and paste the GIF link in the chat.

    On the GIFs homepage, you'll see popular categories. Click one to open the GIFs in that category, or enter keywords into the search bar at the top of the menu.
