QuestionAfter using my Swiffer, it leaked. Is there a way to store without it spilling, or do I have to remove the cleaner each time?Community AnswerJust make sure you pushed the refill bottles all the way down, then store the Swiffer in an upright position.
-
QuestionDo I need to remove all the plastic from the pads?Community AnswerYou aren't supposed to take anything off the pads. The brown strip should go down, meaning it will be against the floor.
-
QuestionDo I keep the pads in the plastic that is covering the padsCommunity AnswerYes. The swiffer pads come in a plastic or cardboard box, but without other packaging. When you remove the pad from the box, it is ready to use.
-
QuestionWhy won't the spray bottle lock in?Community AnswerSometimes you have to really push hard to get it to snap. Be sure you are putting it in the right way. The bottle should state which side should go against the handle.
-
QuestionWhere is the battery compartment on my Swiffer WetJet?Community AnswerUnderneath the button to pop the bottle out is a little lever that you press down and pull, that is the battery compartment. Make sure the front of the bottle where it says Swiffer WetJet is facing to the left when you face the Swiffer forward like when you are about to use it and you face it away from you.

QuestionMy jets are clogged. How can I remove them to clear them? I already tried a needle.Community AnswerThe Swiffer website says to replace the batteries when jet are not working properly. Try that.

QuestionWhat do I do if the motor on my Swiffer WetJet is working, but the nozzle isn't spraying?Community AnswerChange the cleaning solution bottle, it may be empty. While you have it out, try putting in fresh AA alkaline batteries. One of these two things should do the trick. If not, you may need to exchange it.

QuestionWhat does "load charger" mean? I can't understand the diagram.Community AnswerA back-end loads mean the fee is charged when you redeem the mutual fund. A front-end is the opposite of the back-end load, and means the fee is charged up front. A no-load fund simply means that you can buy and redeem the mutual fund unites/shares at any time without any commission or sales charge.

QuestionHow do I refill the plastic bottle? The lid will not come off.Community AnswerWet Jet liquid is in a proprietary bottle that is designed for the Wet Jet and is purposely made to discourage refilling. To my knowledge Wet Jet does not market their cleaner in any other containers. In short, you can't refill it.
-
QuestionHow do I fix jets that are not spraying?Community AnswerBrushing the jet and clearing it with a toothpick worked for me. Also make sure to change the batteries.
-
QuestionWhat do I do if I can't get the batteries in?Community AnswerIn each battery channel there is a tapered coil spring which contacts the negative(-) end of a battery. Install and compress the spring with the first battery and install the next battery against the first one while still compressed, and push the other end into the positive(+) contact.

QuestionWhat do I do if the WetJet has new batteries, but the sprayer isn't working?Community AnswerRemove the battery compartment, and check to see if the batteries are installed correctly. Make sure the batteries are fresh. It's not uncommon to find defective batteries in the so-called "budget battery bundles" where a lot of "super volt" batteries are packaged and sold cheap. The correct battery polarities are molded into the holder next to where the battery contacts are. If this didn't correct the problem, contact the Swifter company. The fluid label tells you how.

QuestionHow do I change the cleaner in the WetJet?Community AnswerA good way to make it much easier to refill it and in the future as well is to dunk the cap in hot water to slightly soften it, then twist the cap off, clip the locking tabs off with a pair of nail clippers, then remove the bottle. Pour the cleaning solution of your choice into it, then replace the cap and put the bottle back in.
