Really check in with how your heart is feeling to see if there are any underlying feelings from past relationships that you still need to heal from.
  • Question
My boyfriend broke up with me and started being a jerk. Now he wants to get back together. I really want a boyfriend again. What should I do?
    Community Answer
Don't put up with a jerk just because you want a boyfriend. Wait for someone who will treat you right.
  • Question
I broke up with my boyfriend and I have been single for 5 months, people who are together are getting me upset, I want a boyfriend again, what can I do?
    Community Answer
Honestly I have been through the same and I'm sure many others have too. The best thing to do is wait and trust me the right person will soon come into your life. Don't cry over one person, there are still 7 billion people in the world to smile about.
  • Question
What if all of my other friends who are single are depressed? Should I be, too?

No. Just help them try to find their love. It's good to help them. If they can't, then just let them be single. But don't be depressed with them.
  • Question
How can I deal with being the only one of my friends without a partner on Valentine's Day?
    Shaunte Dummett
    Community Answer
I am in the same boat, all 3 of my roommates are in committed relationships. This is just a season in our lives, and there is someone out there for both of us. My plan for Valentine's day is to treat myself. I am going to take myself out to a late lunch or dinner and celebrate me. Self-love is so important. Just find ways in which you can celebrate you. If it's a spa day, then do that, if it's you ordering pizza and streaming a show, then do it. Love and celebrate yourself and your singleness. It is a difficult spot to be in, but trust that you'll get through this.
  • Question
Why am I single? Is it because I'm ugly?
    Community Answer
Maybe you're single simply because you're meant to be single for this period of your life. Work to be happy where you are, as you are. Pray for that perfect someone God has for you -- someone who will love you for more than your appearance.
  • Question
My man just decided to end the relationship three days before Valentine's day in a horrible way! How do I survive that?
    Chigul
    Community Answer
You just have to get over it. Valentine's day is not about having a date, it's about showing love to people. You could spend Valentine's at the orphanage or hospital helping out the less privileged, or just spend time with family. If he did that to you, he doesn't deserve you, and I'm sure you'll find someone better.
