If they really think you stand out from anyone in the US itself or if you're very well suited for a certain role, then they'll clear some obstacles for you, such as transport and work permits. But if you want to audition on your own initiative, you'll have to get money to fly to and live in the US, as well as obtain a US work permit.

QuestionI'm 14 years old and live in Sweden. How do I do to get to Broadway when I'm older?Tom De BackerTop AnswererThe how is not too difficult. You'll need to be 18, buy a plane ticket and fly to the USA. However, you'll also need at least some money, let's say $10,000, to cover your initial expenses until you get a job. Of course, you'll need to obtain a US work permit, too. You may not get a job immediately, so plan to work in the service industry, for example, or to teach acting classes, or any other skill really that you have to earn some money until you make it.
