    The psoriasis is indeed a challenge. Having that condition and having sisterlocks can cause plaque build up on the scalp and you might have to remove your sisterlocks. The best bet is to find a treatment method that does not leave much of a residue on the scalp, such as a clobetasol solution.

    Sisterlock/microloc products and traditional loc products are formulated differently. A lot of products for traditional locs aren't good for your hair anyway. However, when they say "product," they mean everything outside of shampoo and water - no styling products or accessory products like oils, creams, conditioners and the like.
