Eliminate your cache and cookies. Select "Tools" or "Preferences" from your web browser's drop-down menu, and look for a tab or section with the name "privacy." There should be an option called "clear all history/cookies/cache." Click on that, and you should be given an option to pick what you want to delete (cache, cookies, history, etc.) and from where (the very beginning, a month ago, a week ago, etc.).

In the app, go to Settings > Personal Info > Phone Numbers. Click "+" (top right), enter the new phone number, then click Add; once added, it will route you back to the Phone Number page. All you need to next is to tap the phone number that you added and set it as primary. Via website, log in and click the gear icon at the top right, which will route you to your account profile. You will see "Phone" at the lower-right part of the same page; just click the "+" sign, enter the phone number and make it the primary, then click Add Number.
