  • Question
How can I ask a girl out?
    Community Answer
Just be completely straight forward and direct. Have an activity in mind. So say something like, "Do you want to go to the movies with me this weekend?" Girls appreciate it when a guy says what's on his mind rather than beating around the bush or acting uncertain.
  • Question
What goes well with slim-fit jeans?
    Community Answer
A hoodie or a shirt that is not too tight, finished off with some cool sneakers.
  • Question
If I choose a style but others make fun of me, what should I do?
    Amy Gremillion
    Community Answer
Do your own thing without worrying what people have to say! It's important to find your own style in life. Remember that you won't be in school forever, so just ignore the people who make fun of you.
  • Question
What if I don't have most of these things and barely have any money?
    Amy Gremillion
    Community Answer
Wear what you do have for now, and try to add in pieces to your wardrobe a little at a time. Ask for clothes or gift cards to your favorite stores for your birthday or holidays.
  • Question
Should I wear a suit without a tie that is buttoned down?
    Amy Gremillion
    Community Answer
That might be a little dressy for a normal school day, but it would probably look nice for a special occasion like a school dance.
  • Question
How do I look cool if I have to wear a uniform?
    Community Answer
Cuff the legs on the pants, and/or try to wear a shirt cool shirt under your button-up (mine is black and white stripes). Experimenting with your hair can help. Also, most all boys schools don't have a makeup code, and a little foundation and eyebrow care will most likely add to the look. Just make sure to match the makeup colors to your skin or else it may look unnatural.
  • Question
How do I ask someone out if I'm scared of the parents?
    Community Answer
Don't worry about the parents--they're not the ones you're asking out. You have nothing to fear from them. Simply be respectful and polite toward them when you meet them. Don't try to "win them over"; they will see right through this tactic, and your first impression will immediately make them suspicious of you. However, asking about their careers or hobbies would show that you're interested in others, which always makes a favorable (and often memorable) impression.
