Tell her exactly what you think. It's not abhorrent to not like a Star Wars movie. Plenty of moviegoers, including many die-hard Star Wars fans, are split on The Last Jedi.

Try to enjoy spending time with your friend, and follow along with them. Laugh when they laugh, gasp when they gasp, and try to look like you are having fun. Sometimes you can "fake it till you make it," and you'll actually end up having a good time.
  • Question
How do I know if I like it?
    Community Answer
You know you like it if at the end you feel the emotions and connect with the movie. Also if you just found it entertaining.
  • Question
My school is having a movie day and we are going to be watching a boring movie, what can I with do with friends during a school movie day?
    Community Answer
You can (if you're allowed to) bring some snacks, or blankets and hang out with your friends. This happens a lot at my school, so just try to talk to your friend and try to ignore the movie. You can bring some board games with you, or play some games with your friends. Try to make a new handshake, or a new language that only you and your friends understand.
  • Question
What do I do if my friend sees that I fell asleep during the movie?
    Community Answer
Just say that you were tired and didn't get enough sleep the night before.
