  • Question
What if I don't have pliers?
    Community Answer
You can slide something through the gap to try to open it up, or you can pull it apart gently using your fingers.
  • Question
What other glue can I use?
    Community Answer
Eyelash glue, spirit gum, or theatrical make-up adhesive. You can get all of these on Amazon. If you use spirit gum, don't forget to get the remover too (it's a liquid that loosens the adhesive so you can take off the prosthetic without damaging your skin). NEVER EVER use super glue, craft glue, epoxy, or anything else made for crafting. They will do damage to your skin, potentially causing rashes, allergic reactions, illness, and ripping your skin off when you try to remove the adhesive.
  • Question
How long will the piercing stay on? I would not want to go through any embarrassing moments where the piercing falls off.
    Community Answer
It will last as long as the eyelash glue packaging says it will last.
  • Question
Can I use super glue instead?
    Community Answer
No! If you do this, when you try to take your "piercing" off, you may peel your skin off as well. If you must use something stronger, try "spirit gum." You can find it at a costume shop or theatrical makeup shop.
  • Question
Can I use kids' glue, like Elmers school glue, because it's safer for kids?

    Community Answer
Never EVER use crafting glue, as this can damage your skin. NEVER use super glue, either. Stick to spirit gum or other materials!
  • Question
Could I just buy stick-on diamonds and use those?
    Community Answer
Yes, but keep in mind that the stickiness won't last very long, especially if you have oily skin, so they'll probably fall off pretty quickly.
  • Question
How could I make a nose ring with small beads?
    Community Answer
Crafting wire, small beads, and maybe hot glue. Or, take an extra piece of crafting wire, a little bit bigger than normal, and put the correct amount of beads on that you want. Be sure to leave a small part out of both sides and bend them over the end beads.
  • Question
Should I use the eyelash glue for a lip piercing?
    It'sAsh
    Community Answer
As long as its not going to be inside your mouth, it should be fine.
  • Question
How can I fake a tongue piercing?
    Community Answer
You can buy beads which are hollow and have a hole at the bottom. And all you need to do is use the hole as a suction cup.
  • Question
Can I use hot glue for a fake nose piercing? I am not sensitive with the heat and when it touches me nothing happened.

    Community Answer
I do not suggest using hot glue on your skin. It can be extremely damaging to you and your skin. Even though you may not feel it, your skin is burning still.
  • Question
Can I use a safety pin for this to save money?
    Community Answer
It is best not to, because of the side effects like infection. Go to a tattoo shop; it will hurt less and is a one-off cost.
  • Question
How do I fake piercings without glue?
    Community Answer
Try using jump ring or paper clip method. These don't require glue, but you will need nail polish and a pair of pliers.
  • Question
Would hot glue work for this project?
    Community Answer
Applying hot glue to your skin will burn you, but if you’re using it in place of nail polish for a ring, it would be okay once it’s cooled down.
  • Question
Does spirit glue leave a residue or any residual glue after you take it off with the remover?
    Community Answer
Super glue and crafting glue will take skin off and maybe leave a rash; spirit glue won't if you let the glue dry.
