    Community Answer
Check the most common places first, like classrooms, your desk and other places you might usually see it. Then, if you still can't find it, look in more uncommon areas, like bathrooms or closets. Don't panic, keep your mind clear and take deep breaths. It will probably turn up.
  • Question
What do I do if I think someone stole my object?
    Community Answer
Be sure to look thoroughly for it wherever you can, and if you know who stole it, try to get them to give it back. If you think it has been stolen from your home entirely, depending on how important the item is, you may need to call the police and insurance. However, refrain from this unless you have searched very thoroughly in as many places as possible.

How do you find missing glasses?
    Community Answer
If you can't see clearly and don't have a friend to help, try taking a photograph of the room and holding it up to your face to get a clear view. A flashlight will also help, since the glasses will shine when they reflect the beam. Many people lose their glasses when they fall asleep with them on, so check the bedclothes and down the side and back of couches.

    Community Answer

Where were you when you did that? Work back from that time. If it is a valuable watch, were you near any places where someone might have taken it?

Look on your head. Look under the bed. Look inside pillowcases. Look inside the duvet cover. Look inside any binders you have next to the bed. Look inside bedside table drawers/behind doors/on shelves. Look where you sat the night before and check the back of the couch too. Check the car, if you drive. Check all bags you carry daily. Check the kitchen, especially near recipe books or other things you need glasses for.
  • Question
I lost something very little; it has been gone for a year. How can I find it?
    Community Answer
Give yourself a break over worrying about it. Even though it has been a long time, you could try retracing your steps, clean up the area where you think your lost it, then look again. If you lost it outside, you'll have needed to have contacted the places you went the day you lost it but given it is over a year, many probably won't have a clue but try anyway, and call the police station too, in case it's in lost property. Sometimes not worrying about something lost results in it turning up when least expected.
