The window won't go up or down evenly. Sometimes, the window won't move and you can hear the regulator going.
  • Question
How do I align the window track in the front driver side window on a 2007 Pontiac Vibe?
    Ryan Bacigalupi
    Community Answer
The door will need to be disassembled and the glass removed. Once removed, the retainer should be located. The glass will need to be cleaned of all residual silicone and a new retainer and silicone will need to be applied.
  • Question
Is there a video showing how to do this?
    Community Answer
Yes, there are videos on YouTube. Do a search for "how to replace a passenger side window." The process is the same.
  • Question
What holds the glass in the track?
    Ryan Bacigalupi
    Community Answer
It depends on the vehicle. On most there is a wedge-like device that the window sits in, which is bonded with silicone. When replacing the glass, a new retainer and proper silicone should be used.
