  • Question
My ex-best friend is being pretty rude to me, even stooping so low as to publicly embarrass me and attempting to steal my boyfriend. I cannot cut her out of my life, because she is always next to me, ready to make my life miserable. What do I do?
    Community Answer
First up, tell your boyfriend what this conniving ex friend of yours is up to. Explain how manipulative and mean she is and ask him to support you. Then confront this friend and tell her that you've already asked your boyfriend to watch out for her and her scheming ways and he is solid with you. Tell her that you consider she is harassing you, and if she doesn't leave you well alone, you'll complain about her actions toward you to someone who can do something about it. Then stay away from her and whenever she comes near you, act as if you cannot even see or hear her.
  • Question
What about in schools or workplaces, if someone is constantly harassing me whenever they see me?
    Community Answer
Tell a teacher or your boss something like "Sir/Maam (last name), I have a concern about my work quality being lowered due to (annoying persons name). Could i move my work area away from him/her as I feel I could work harder without him by my side whenever I am here."
  • Question
Why do I dislike and not identify with most of people?
    Community Answer
You may be an introvert - this means you prefer spending most of your time alone. There are probably people you will like/get along with, you just haven't met them yet. Try to branch out and meet new people that have the same interests as you.
  • Question
What if the person likes me and they keep trying to make me like them back?
    Community Answer
Tell them that you don't have those kinds of feelings for them, and that you're never going to change your mind. If they keep bothering you about it, tell a teacher or another adult, because if you've asked them to stop and they haven't, that's harassment.
  • Question
How do I get rid of this boy who annoys me but won't leave me alone? I've told him I don't like him but he won't leave! What should I do?

  • Question

  • Question
I tried to get rid of an annoying guy by telling him I am with someone else, but it didn't work. What can I do?
    Community Answer

  • Question
My twin sister is with me 24/7. We share a bedroom, we have classes in school together, and we dance together. Whatever I do, she needs to do, and she won't leave me alone. What do I do?
    Community Answer
Find new hobbies that you think she won't be as interested in. Maybe it isn't her intention to do every single thing you do, it's just that the two of you are more similar than you think. If you share a group of friends, try to meet some new people outside the circle. If you haven't already, try telling her you need some space to do your own thing.
  • Question
I've done everything, I've yelled at her, everything possible, she WILL. NOT. STOP! Somebody, please, give me advice!
    Community Answer
Talk to a parent or other trusted adult if necessary. Sometimes adults can get these situations resolved much more easily than you can do yourself. Other than that, avoid her as much as you can, and avoid reacting to her. Often people like this enjoy seeing you get angry or annoyed, but may eventually get bored and leave you alone if you just don't react to them.
  • Question
My ex-friend is stealing stuff from me. She says she didn't but I know she did. What should I do?
    Community Answer
If you think you'll ever want to be friends again, try to calmly confront the person again and ask for your property back. If this doesn't work, the best thing to do is get a parent or teacher involved, especially if you have proof that they stole something.
  • Question
There's this one obnoxious boy in my math class do thinks I like him and has made physical contact a lot. He is making himself look like a freak, so at this point what do I do?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
First of all, remember that unwanted physical contact is punishable by law. Now, it won't come to that overnight, the point is that you have every right to immediately protest - all the way to the Supreme Court - against anyone touching you anywhere without your permission. If you don't want to even shake hands, and he grabs your hand, it's harassment. Get an adult involved to handle at least that aspect of this. As for the rest, well, all people need to learn about rejection, and it's not easy, but if you don't like what he's doing, you can politely point that out to him and say you don't feel the same way and you want him to stop because he's making you uncomfortable.
  • Question

  • Question
My friend is really clingy and it gets annoying. She won't even let me be near my boyfriend anymore, at least when she's around. I've known her for a long time and I don't want to break the friendship.
    Community Answer
Try to understand why she is clingy. I know clinginess can be pretty annoying, but there may be a deeper reason. Maybe she feels like a third wheel, or feels left out. Explain to her, in a way that your friend will understand and not be offended by, what you feel. Try to get your friend and your boyfriend to become friends if you want, it could mean your friend and your boyfriend could get more time with you while they get to know each other. Don't give up the friendship.

Just be honest. Tell her that you need some space and set some boundaries, i.e., "When I'm with my boyfriend, we want to be alone," or, "Sometimes I just want to hang out with this group of friends on my own," or whatever makes sense to you.
  • Question

  • Question
What should I do when a friend always make fun of me in crowd?
    Community Answer
Make fun of them back and see how they like it. Especially if the friend thinks that it is supposedly hilarious to bring you along just so they can pick on you. Snap back and when she gets frustrated, ask her how she likes it. If she doesn't get your point, consider making it obvious to others how mean she is being by saying something like: "Wow Chrissy, that's such a mean thing to say. Are you sure you actually meant that?".
  • Question
A person in my office (senior to me but in another section) is always trying to attempt conflict with me and says the wrong things to top management about me. He is really annoying. How do I get rid of him?
    INeedToKnow222
    Community Answer
When he attempts conflict, do not try to fight back. That will just encourage his behavior. If he is somewhat related to your boss or in the boss's favor, make sure that you don't backtalk. If you really want to get rid of him, don't say anything to him when he argues. It may be hard, but agree with him and prove him wrong. This will make him feel embarrassed, and he will not want to attempt more conflict.
