Do your homework! Search under every rock and stone to see if you know someone who works at the company and can give you insight into the interview process or even put in a good word for you — check your social media sites, LinkedIn, friends, family, neighbors, colleagues and classmates. Research each of your interviewers and the company in depth and study the job description. If possible, prepare answers to the most commonly asked interview questions.

Thank the interviewers for their time and smile pleasantly as you leave the room. After an interview, you will have to wait for the outcome. The interview panel or boss have to decide to either hire you or not hire you. Another thing you can do following an interview is to send the interview panel or boss an email, thanking them for the interview.
