Don't over-shampoo, because that actually exasperates the problem with frizz. Curly hair needs some natural oils to smooth it down. Use only your fingers and a wide-tooth comb to separate your hair, because separation means frizz. In the shower, after you rinse your hair and detangle ti, add your favorite curl product and scrunch it into the hair while it is still wet. Then you can air dry it or use a diffuser to accentuate the curls.
  • Question
I have dry hair. When people say only wash your hair twice a week is that shampoo and condition?
    Community Answer
If your hair is very dry you should try to use a shampoo and conditioner that's targeted towards dry hair or shampoo that's meant to make your hair straighter because it will help. Wash your hair every other day and try brushing your hair less. Allow it to air dry and try to avoid heated hair appliances, because it will add to the breakage and dryness.
