  • Question
    How can I jump higher?
    Community Answer
Sit in a straddle and put one hand either side of a leg (either leg -- you can repeat it for both), lift your chosen leg and bounce it up and down, but don't touch it on the floor at all. Repeat it for the other leg.
  • Question
If my legs are longer than my back, could this be a reason I can't do a toe touch?
    Community Answer
It is possible, but unlikely. Try doing more flexibility-induced warm ups. For more information check out @flexibiltytips on Instagram.

My knees hurts whenever I try to touch my toes, but I am not fat. What should I do?
    Community Answer
This must be because your body is not used to yoga. So, I would suggest you stretch and practice it regularly, that way you will work through the pain.

  • Question
How can I stop feeling muscle pain when I bend over to pick something up?
    Community Answer
Depending on where the pain is coming from, it could have to do with your positioning. Make sure you're leaning over from your hips and not the middle of your back. You should also try some light daily stretching to ensure that your muscles stay relaxed and loose. If the pain continues, you should see your doctor to rule out any injuries.

It's impossible to diagnose anything based on a few lines of text. It's best to see a doctor if you're worried. In general, stop when the pain gets too much, but keep stretching every day to improve your flexibility.
  • Question
I can do all of these stretches and I do them every day, but how do I get my legs up in the air faster?
    Community Answer
Grab a stretchy band and tie it around your feet. Try a couple of toe touches and it should help a lot when you take the band off.
  • Question
Should I feel stupid if I can't do a toe touch?
    Community Answer
No. Being able to do a toe touch is really not that important. You can be good at other stuff. However, if you continue to practice your stretches, you will likely be able to do a toe touch eventually.
